Mamas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Reiki Masters
I‘m serious! Kind of…
At times it staggers me the negativity that some people shower on their spiritually minded brethren. Here in Japan especially, just the word Reiki conjures up images of the walking dead, seances and other supernatural hocus-pocus. <technical term> I mean, what ever happened to live and let live. Seems to me every Reiki manual should bear a warning label that you may be in for some abuse should you admit to the wrong people that you follow the Reiki path.
Of course, being the Reiki Rebel that I am, the abuse has only spurred me on to delve deeper into the mysteries that abound in the universe and I make sure the abusers get an extra helping of distance Reiki to help break through the anguish that must be their day to day existence… I mean what else would you call a life that doesn’t allow for anything that can’t be scientifically labeled, dissected and put in a jar on the shelf?
Albert Einstein once said that “Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds” and those that can’t accept that their may be more to the universe than Frosted Flakes and MTV surely fit into that category. It is said that the Age of Enlightenment (aka the Age of Wisdom) is on deck to follow this information age should man be so inclined to actually evolve instead of the path of devolution which seems to be gaining momentum.
My goodness… this sounds more like a rant than the informative post it was intended to be. Wonder how that happened. Oh well… there’s a first for everything! Guess I’ll just sit back and enjoy it… why don’t y’all do the same.

rants are A okay! let those people think the ay they want to think. Forcing someone to see your viewpoint is against the laws of the universe anyway. if it is meant to happen, they will come around.

Go ahead and rant. We are all entitled once in awhile. Feels kind of good sometimes actually.
Throughout time, those who have chosen a path apart from the majority have always encountered opposition and it comes in many forms, including some that are quite vicious.
I think there is still hope and it might have to get worse before it gets better…so take heart and just keep sending Reiki. Love and light.
