Reiki won't disappear, regardless the gakkai secretism. What did really disappear from Usui times? The method? Usui changed the method a lot of times, same as all his students.That's enough for me to show me that the method is a minor tool, NOT the goal at all. I'd like to know as much as all of you the 'real tradition', but the more I investigate, the more I see we're getting obsessed by the method and by it, ignoring the energy itself, ignoring even the 5 precepts. Keep experiencing reiki and the methods and the goals will show up by themselves. N. Reiki is not the method. Reiki is the energy.

Did I meet you in Ashiya before? I’ve met several people from the French Gendai Association, perhaps you were one of them.
In regard to the Gakkai, I know they are just being Japanese. They are doing exactly what any other Japanese association of its type would do,a nd that is completely understandable. Far be it from me to try and impose my own culture on them. That would not be possible.
My point is that they are not the owners of Reiki, and if they don’t want to share, that is their choice (as un-Reiki-like as it is) but they should not be actively forbidding their members from trying to help, if that is indeed the case. The westerner reiki movement is under the power of the new Age marketing system, and he has developed a neo colonialist view  on Reiki.  Behind the pretext of the universality of Reiki is in fact the neo colonialist spirit and desire for dominate and possess  something from an  other culture without any respect for the founder, and there is no hesitation to falsify his biography . All this is in fact for the purpose of financial control on Reiki. They have an interrest to give a negative image of the Gakkai for this purpose. And the majority of people follow this way.( not me ). I want to change this way , and because my wife is japanese, and try to teach something of the japanese culture in west (she is Gendai reiki Shihan and she has a traditionnal japanese knowledge), i  am  in way to create an organisation to spread the japanese culture (include japanese spirituality) . I am a member of a Shinto shrine in Japan, and want to developp a partnership  with a  japanese professor who has writen many books on japanese shamanism and japanese shinto.
