Sat, 20 Mar 2010 11:20:59 +0000 http://wordpress.org/ hourly 1 By: joe http://reiki.whatitallbelike.com/theory/reiki-and-enlightenment/comment-page-1/#comment-284 joe Thu, 08 May 2008 23:37:10 +0000 http://reiki.whatitallbelike.com/?p=35#comment-284 this is actually what attracted me to reiki i wasn't really all that concerned with the healing aspect of it. but when discussing reiki with my friend, my teacher, he told me that a reiki attunement would raise the kundalini, opening the crown chakra. monks spend a lifetime in the attempt, and i could achieve it in 3 minutes if i just sat down. for me, it seems to have been like that story about a man seeking enlightenment...he goes to one teacher who draws a line in the sand and says "to be enlightened, walk over that line. that's all it takes" the man crosses and doesn't believe he's been enlightened, so he seeks another master...and so it goes but i think that the road to enlightenment is one of self healing after that, i can't say this is actually what attracted me to reiki
